Bedtime at the Swamp placed third for the 2009 Ladybug Picture Book Award.

Hosted by the New Hampshire State Library, another picture book that I illustrated I Saw an Ant on the Railroad Tracks was also nominated for the 2007 awards.

*While we’re on the subject, I recently found out that a book from the Nancy Drew & The Clue Crew series (#10 Ticket Trouble) won the 2008 Scribe Award for Best Young Adult Original at the San Diego Comic Con. Very cool.
